Using AI to help write an RFP response

If your team uses AI while preparing a proposal, begin with the instructions for the specific procurement. Review any restrictions, disclosure requirements and certifications before deciding how a tool fits into the process. Do not assume polishing text is automatically outside those requirements.

Then check the response itself. Are the facts accurate? Does the answer reflect your actual service? Can the team support the claims and deliver the commitments? Has confidential material been handled under the organization’s approved policies?

A polished paragraph is still only a paragraph. It may need implementation detail, a relevant example or a clearer connection to the requirement. Someone who understands the solution must check the substance.
